Teaching Experience

Arizona native Kelli began her teaching career at the age of 13, teaching dance and movement at her parent’s performing arts studio, Kids Unlimited. It was here that she realized her passion for teaching and when she reached the age of 22 she began mentoring teachers to create a stronger and better team. Pilates was a natural progression for her, it only furthered her love of teaching, movement and self awareness. Starting in 2004 Kelli has taught Pilates for over 20 years working at various gyms, resorts, studios, and eventually finding a home teaching at the Fletcher Pilates hub in Tucson. Rising up through the ranks of Kelli soon became adjunct faculty who assisted in teaching the Fletcher Program of Study, developed a mentor teaching program, and helped students present at a Pilates 4 Youth presentation for the PMA (Pilates Method Alliance).

Past her movement career, Kelli holds a bachelors in Psychology and loves to use that knowledge during her sessions to help assess and work through any challenges..

“I am drawn to help others make those little discoveries, like puzzle pieces falling into place, about themselves each session that offer deeper understanding into their mindset and subsequently their movement”

Note From Kelli

Teaching has always come naturally to me. I love collaborating with people and that is what teaching is; teamwork. I’ve done so much in my life, like visiting over 30 countries, been handed lemons, made lemonade all while honing some serious performance, hair, makeup, and pilates skills. I am not one to stay down when I get knocked over, and people’s challenges whether physically or mentally won’t make me stop either. I care deeply about people, and I care deeply about helping them,  I have honed the skills over many years of recognizing patterns and giving insightful cues to resolve harmful blocks. It is a pleasure and honor, to work with the incredible people I have, if you want to challenge yourself mentally, spiritually, physically or if your practice has become repetitive I’d encourage you to reach out!
